This is #1281 Jingles of Pegasus Therapeutic Riding, Inc., 2006 Breyer Benefit Limited Edition. Like the mythological winged horse for which it was named, Pegasus Therapeutic Riding of Stamford, Connecticut has been lifting “Hearts, Minds and Bodies” since the non-profit organization began in 1975. One horse in particular – a 14.1-hand gelding named Jingles – has become an especially prized member of the Pegasus team. A former show hunter donated by a local family, he is the ideal therapy mount due to his gentle temperament, excellent training and quality of movement. Today, Pegasus, accredited by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, is one of the leading programs of its kind with eight chapters offering year-round programs in New York and Connecticut.
